Frequently Asked Questions
What treatment is best for me?
When you come for your initial consultation, we will carry our a full clinical assessment including duplex ultrasound scan to map your veins. This will allow us to advise you of your treatment options.
Do I need to be referred by my GP?
No.
You do not need a GP referral - you can self-refer.
You can self-refer by calling us on 0800 051 5046, or contact us from the website (click here).
(Patients with private medical insurance normally do require a GP referral and are advised to contact their insurer in the first instance - failure to do so may result in non-payment by your insurance company.)
How long will I have to wait for treatment?
We have regular clinics so consultations and treatment dates can be arranged at a time convenient for you. We have both day-time and evening appointments.
Will you inform my GP?
We will update your GP in writing after every consultation and treatment.
How can I pay for my consultations / treatment?
We provide for patients who fund their own treatment, as well as those with private medical insurance.
